Potanin’s scholarship is an incentive for talented activists of magistrates of leading Russian universities

Sixteen of the most highly motivated undergraduates of SSAU decided to use this chance.

Representatives of the seven faculties of the Stavropol State Agricultural University participated in the second (internal) round of the competition of scholarship program of Vladimir Potanin in 2016-2017, which was held in 29^th -31^st of January in the capital. Traditionally, in the form of a business game leadership are revealed and organizational skills of high school youth, teamwork, the ability to make quick decisions and adapt to new conditions.

The participants of the contest, held on the basis of MGIMO, became Vladimir Malochkin, Alayona Mikhailovskaya, Sergey Ryzhkov, Mikhail Shepelev (Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of the Stavropol State Agrarian University); Oksana Tumayeva (Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture); Ekaterina Kambarova and Ekaterina Svetlichnaya, Artem Chernenko, Victoria Shumskaya (Accounting and Finance); Dmitry Bolotov, Nikolai Golovin, Philip Prozorov (Economic); Kazi Omarov and Vladislav Golovinov (Electricity); Victoria Plakhtyukova (Technology Management) and Ivan Nosov (Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization).

We remind that the competition for V. Potanin’s scholarship program was created to support the most talented and socially active graduate students of leading universities of our country. According to General Director of the Fund Oksana Orachevaya’s words, this year in the second round all 75 universities were presented. That fact indicates a high interest in the competition. By the way, only 1948 people from 5565 who submitted the original application for the willingness to participate in the bidding competition passed and got the second stage.

In the future, the results of two rounds of experts «Scholarship Program of Vladimir Potanin» conduct an independent assessment of the contribution to the solution of tasks by each participant and define the 500 winners. The most creative Russian students will receive a scholarship in the amount of 15 thousand rubles starting from February 2017 until the end of training. We can only wait a little longer . The results will be announced on March 15th. However, new knowledge and necessary emotions have in the bank of our farmers. And it means we will win!
