We should remind that in the intellectual game "Beginner Farmer", which is held annually under the auspices of the All-Russian youth public organization "Russian Union of Rural Youth", the Stavropol State Agrarian University won four times at the Federal level! But the most important stage is yet to come, and until the results of the game summed up the regional leaders and identified the best projects.

Among the winners were two "farm" teams.

Diploma of the 1st place for the project on the development of peasant farm enterprise "Strawberry paradise" was awarded a team of faculties Agrobiology and land resources, ecology and landscape architecture as a part - students Ramazan Ahmedhanova and Ekaterina Penkina (4th year students), first year student Maxim Zhebrikov, Master student Alexei Zheleznyak and PhD student Lyudmila Mikhno, who are offering to grow ecologically clean berry.

Why strawberries? Its developers are represented by students of Vladimir Avagyan (2nd year), Michael Chincharauli (3d year), Jana Nikonova, Igor Tereschenko, Victoria Svetlichnaya (4th year) won the diploma of the 1st place. The essence of the project is to create a breeding farm for breeding Saanen goats, with good productivity in the Stavropol Territory, with the subsequent sale of products. The main types of dairy products of the peasant farm enterprise "Country of goats," which begins in the village Krasnokumskoe of Georgievkiy region; there will be milk and cheese. But it is provided and sales of calves: goats plan to sell to the growing needs of the population farms, goats for meat.

"Your choice has fallen on Saanen goats. Why? "- We ask the students. »Goats of this breed are the real champions and are able to produce up to 10 liters of milk per day! - Explains the "farmers". And yet we can safely say that the goat is now cost-effective, profitable and maintains a popular trend - for a healthy lifestyle, "And this is true, the level of profitability of the project - 50%, and the payback period is 2.5 years. A strong case can be considered the fact that the main consumers of the products offered, in addition to a wide range of the population, are: pregnant women, children, the sick, as well as athletes. Potential markets perform Stavropol region (and especially the region of Caucasian Mineral Waters); Republic, a part of the North Caucasus Federal District, where the population traditionally uses goat production in the food; Other subjects of the Russian Federation, where the popular Mediterranean cuisine. Incidentally, the use Saanen goats milk produces no peculiar smell, with high taste qualities as compared to outbred goat milk contained in individual farms most population, and obtain more lean, with good taste meat, cheese and lactic acid useful products. And this is also the strengths of the project proposed to implement the "beginning farmers."

"Silver" prize-winners of the game and the owners of diplomas of 2nd place became business plans of the teams Electric Power Faculty : "AgroSladost" (growing pumpkins and processing it into useful candied) in the performance of third-year students Andrey Yarmolenko, Yuri Piminov, Vitali Makarov and "Fisheries ", created by George Digovtsov and Kirill Kolesnikov (2nd year students) and Olexandr Gladkiy (4th year).

The bronze "winners" are the representatives of the Faculty of Economics, they received the award for "Breeding California breed rabbits' diet of easily digestible meat containing oxide agent of polyunsaturated fatty acids, which inhibits the oxidative processes in the human body. The initiators of the project are the 4th year students Vladislav Velichko, Bela Ionova, Julia Perepechenova. They were awarded a diploma of the 3rd place. The same reward is awarded the team a sophomore of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization. Dmitry Grabelnikov Vadim Margalenov and Alexey Grigoriev plan to carry out a business project "Breeding black nutria in the conditions of Stavropol Territory".
