Projects of Masters of Accounting and Financial Faculty of SSAU in the area of neuro- communication will finance Innovation Funding Agency.
Applications for trial competition GENIUS-NTI were held from August to October 2016. In total 296 applications of 4 programs were submitted: AeroNet (air transport), MariNet (marine transport) and AutoNet (automobile transport) and NeuroNet (neuro- communication). November 10, 2016 there was first final shortlisting in cooperation with corporate team NeuroNet within National Technology Initiative (NTI).
60 projects from 16 regions of Russia came through to the final of NeuroNet program. About half of project owners including Stavropol State Agrarian University Masters came to Moscow personally. They advanced their development to leading professionals and business leaders working in the field of Neurotechnology. The judges appreciated first the perspectives of commercialization projects and qualification of applicants.
17 February 2017 Directorate Innovation Promotion Fund, taking into account the recommendations of Fund contest committee, accepted the lists of projects for funding the program GENIUS-NTI of 1-st year. The projects of masters of Accounting and Financial Faculty of SSAU: Gochiyayeva Aminat (Master Program Accounting, Auditing and Analysis”) and Victoria Shumskaya (Master Program "Management Accounting and Controlling") are in the list of winners. Under the aegis of Head of Chair Statistics and Econometrics, Doctor of Economics, professor Alexey Nikolaevich Gerasimov they prepared and presented the project "Development of cross-platform components accelerated perception of information using “EyesCatching” authors technology for mobile devices and "Creating an innovative neuro-computing interface “ORSO” for learning foreign languages using WEB 3.0 technology”
Overall, each winner will get the funding of $ 500 thousand Rubles for project realization during two years. Moreover, that is not all dividends. Adviser Director General of Innovation Promotion Fund Ivan Bortnik promised that leaders-participants become the major players in Neurotechnology market in in the coming decades. Anton Sorokin, head of the program "GENIUS" is sure "NeuroNet Market can break new ground of human brain and perspectives of information systems management." He pins his hopes on winners, who can make a breakthrough in this direction.
