Practicing veterinarians upgraded their skills in present-day pathologies of pets in the format of the educational Purina Partners program.
"Nestlé Purina" company jointly with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Stavropol State Agrarian University organized an annual seminar for practicing veterinarians on March 2, 2017.
The event was within the program «Urology and Nephrology Purina Partners» that was first launched in 2017 and includes veterinary conferences and seminars for veterinarians in 19 Russian largest cities. As a world expert in the field of pet nutrition and veterinary medicine "Nestle Purina" aims to implement and support projects aimed at development of veterinary medicine in our country and the exchange of knowledge and experiences between professionals.
At the beginning of the seminar Dean of the Faculty of Veterinarian Medicine and Technological Management, Valentin Sergeevich Skripkin greeted the interested "prof" and emphasized the importance and relevancy of the event, its significance in the professional development of veterinary specialists.
The keynote address was given by the head of nephrology department, the candidate of veterinary sciences, nephrologist of «Your Doctor» clinic (Moscow) Lemara Yurievna Voytova.
The seminar program included the following topics: Features of diagnosis of Chronic Kidney Disease; New veterinary diets PURINA; classification by IRIS urological diseases; management of chronic kidney disease at different stages of disease.
Listeners obtained knowledges of relevant pathologies in veterinary medicine – LUTD and Chronic Kidney Disease. After the event, certificate is issued to each participant.
