The five most purposeful undergraduates of the Agrarian University were announced winners of the Vladimir Potanin Scholarship Program Contest.

On March 15, the Expert Council summarized the results of the Vladimir Potanin Scholarship Program Contest for students 2016/2017. With the beginning of a new and interesting stage in the life of the winners of the Potanin competition, Oksana Oracheva, the Director General of the Fund, congratulated: "For the seventeenth time we are announcing the results of Vladimir Potanin's Scholarship Program. Six hundred new surnames, 500 undergraduates and 100 teachers - in the thousands of "Potaninets" community, the gold fund of the country! "

The scholarship competition was held for students of master's programs of 75 leading universities of Russia. Selection of applicants for the scholarship was held in two rounds. In this season, 5565 applications were submitted for the competition, in the second (full-time) tour there were 1,948 students. According to the results of two rounds, 500 winners representing different scientific schools and directions - from technical to humanitarian ones - were identified.

As you know, 16 master students - representatives of seven faculties of the Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the second (full) round of the Vladimir Potanin Scholarship Program 2016/17, which was held in Moscow in late January. Five of them became winners. Here are their names: Alena Mikhailovskaya, Sergei Ryzhkov (Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of Stavropol State University), Ekaterina Cvetlichnaya, Artem Chernenko (Accounting and Finance Department) and Nosov Ivan (Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization).

Winners of the Scholarship Contest are excellent students who have shown their leadership and organizational abilities, ability to work in a team, the ability to make quick decisions and adapt to new conditions. Now the guys will receive a monthly scholarship of the Vladimir Potanin Charity Fund in the amount of 15 thousand rubles. Up to the termination of training in a magistracy. This summer the fellows can also take part in the School of the Fund, during which they will be able to present a socially significant project and win a grant for its implementation.
