Students of the Faculty of Economics of StGAU got acquainted with the work of one of the largest Russian manufacturers of children's furniture.

An excursion to the Stavropol industrial enterprise of IP S. Gandylian and a meeting with the leadership was organized by the faculty of the Department of Entrepreneurship and World Economy - assistant professor Julia Orel and assistant Darya Gracheva, with the active participation of the regional entrepreneurship support fund.

Students learned about the history of a private furniture company, which began in 1993 with a small wood workshop with an area of ​​120 square meters. Meters, and now is one of the brands producing high-quality furniture for the newborn from the tree of valuable species: beech, chestnut, oak. Regional offices of the company are open in the largest cities of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don.

During the excursion, which included the study of the main workshops and divisions of the enterprise, the students of SSAU became acquainted with the full cycle of the production process. One of the brightest impressions of the guys is the observation of high-precision operations by robotic equipment that allows performing the most complicated three-dimensional operations for milling and polishing wood. Huge shops, complex mechanisms, high-tech foreign equipment - this is how modern production should be.

Special interest among students, whose future professional life will be associated with the competencies realized when developing the profile of the "World Economy", caused the peculiarities of the organization of the foreign economic activity of the furniture enterprise. The company sells finished products not only on the territory of the Russian Federation and the CIS countries, but also delivers it to foreign countries - England, Denmark, Italy.

The active life position of the head of the enterprise, S. Gandylyan, the installation of impeccable quality, eco-friendly materials and stunning European design, inspired the students and made them seriously think about starting their own business, including with the prospect of entering foreign markets. In order to study the available experience, the doors of the factory are always open to enterprising, purposeful young professionals, informal communication and practical training.
