Within the discipline "Technology of storage and processing of crop products", students of the 4th year of training "Technology of production and processing of agricultural products" under the guidance of Associate Professor Elena Skorbina visited the Stavropol bakery "Bread Khmelnitsky", where in practice they consolidated the available theoretical knowledge and skills on technology of production of bakery and confectionery products.

This enterprise is famous in Stavropol and beyond for a wide range of products, its quality and exclusivity. Suffice it to say that the development manager - Alexey Dubovoy, who represented the production to students, is a very competent and creative specialist. He mastered the subtleties of craft in Switzerland and Germany, constantly gets acquainted with the novelties in the world bakery and adapts them to production.

During the excursion, A. Dubovoi informed the students: the enterprise is gradually changing traditional types of bread with products of organic origin (wellness), meeting the aspiration of mankind to lead a healthy lifestyle. When making such bread, the traditional principle of slowbaking is used.

The children got acquainted with the nuances of the unique bread baking technology and raw materials base of the enterprise. The company "Bread Khmelnitsky" has been 20th year. “Modern European products with a Russian soul,” - this is how the manufacturer position its products. And this is really so: a wide range of bakery products produced is designed for demanding taste and taking care of customers' health in the first place. "Bread Khmelnitsky" uses in its production wallpaper, or flour from whole grinded grain, pumpkin, corn, instead of the usual sugar from the beet - more useful brown reed, instead of sunflower oil - olive.

In the framework of the agreement on strategic partnership with the Stavropol State Agrarian University, the students of the Faculty of Technological Management will be able to undergo an internship with further employment in the bakery "Bread Khmelnitsky".
