The final competition of professional skill in insurance

At the Accounting and Finance Faculty of the SSAU, the winners of the competition organized by the department "Finance, Credit and Insurance" jointly with PJSC IC "Rosgosstrakh" were determined.

The competition is aimed at increasing the level of insurance literacy, improving the quality of professional training of students in accordance with the professional standards, creating conditions for the identification of gifted and talented students. It is called upon to promote their further intellectual development and employment, professional self-determination and adaptation of the obtained theoretical knowledge to specific conditions of the insurance market functioning.

The first stage of the competition - a creative task for insurance - was held by correspondence. The second full-time stage envisaged the performance of various competitive assignments, allowing assessing both the individual level of participants' preparation and the team work as a whole, including the practical skills of future specialists. This stage was conducted with the participation of representatives of the insurance company Marina Evgenievna Svidina, the main specialist in training of the of PJSC IC "Rossgosstrakh" branch in the Stavropol Territory and the chief specialist of the agency sales department Adelia Barievna Samakayeva.

Four teams took part in the competition: 2nd year students (specialty "Economic security"), 3^rd year students (directions "Economics", "Finance and credit") and two teams of the 4^th year students (directions "Economics", "Finance and Credit" ).

The jury of the contest, which included specialists of the insurance company - head of the marketing department of the PJSC IC "Rossgosstrakh" branch in the Stavropol Territory Elena Petrovna Yankevich and representatives of the Department of Finance, Credit and Insurance, noted the high level of finalists’ training, their high interest in insurance, creativity in solving Complex problems of the insurance market development.

According to the final results of the contest, the winners in the team competition were determined. The leaders were third-year students (profile "Finance and credit"). The team, prepared by Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor I. I. Glotova, was awarded the winner's diploma and valuable prizes. The participants of the competition got the opportunity to practice and work in managerial positions in key areas in all branches of the branch of PJSC IC "Rosgosstrakh" in the Stavropol Territory.

Specialists of the insurance company Rosgosstrakh presented unique publications to all teams - an album of GOSSTRAKH posters, which reflects not only its history, but also the history of insurance in Russia. And all the participants of the professional competition were awarded special prizes from the Student Insurance Agency of the Stavropol AU - insurance policies for one year under the accident insurance program for the amount of 30 thousand rubles.
