SSAU students visited the power facilities of the branch of "PJSC" Inter-Regional High-Voltage Grid Company of the North Caucasus "-" Stavropolenergo "Western Electric System".
Together with V.N. Shemyakin and A.V. Ivashina associate professors of the department of Electrical supply and operation of electrical equipment, within the course of Power Supply, 4th year students of the Electric Power Department visited the most modern substation "Central" on April 13 (voltage class 110/10 KV) and the substation "Zapadnaya" (110/10/6 kV) of the branch "PJSC" IDGC of the North Caucasus "-" Stavropolenergo "Western Electric Networks" to familiarize with the device, scheme and designation of substations.
Master of the Stavropol Group of Substations No. 1 Alexander Yu. Achkasov informed the guys that in terms of technical equipment in his voltage class, the substation "Central" is one of the best substations in the South of Russia. With its design and construction, modern technologies developed and implemented in the electric power industry of the 21st century were used.
This lesson was organized within the framework of the Target Communication Program "Electric Power - the Future Profession", which is actively implemented by Inter-Regional High-Voltage Grid Company of the North Caucasus and is intended to increase the prestige of the energy profession as an important condition for the inflow of qualified personnel into the distribution grid of Russia. In addition, visits to power facilities is included in the curriculum in order to increase the literacy of students in relation to knowledge of electrical safety rules.
