AGRARIAN POLYGON IN ACTION

During the entire study day on April 18, an exhibition of first-class operating agricultural machinery was held on the central site of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, which is an important part of the material and technical base of the university.

Such a large-scale, practical-oriented lesson for students of several faculties of the Stavropol State Agrarian University was organized on the initiative of the Rector, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Doctor of Economics and Professor Vladimir Ivanovich Truhachev.

In his view, the future professional staff should keep an eye on the pulse of modern agricultural production and, of course, in the details, to know with what machines and what technical tools they sow, plow, harvest. Students are important in practice to feel the benefits of each sample and, if necessary, thoroughly be able to deal with all kinds of failures. Practically-oriented approaches are generally the main priority in the preparation of modern agrarians of the 21st century. Their implementation is carried out in accordance with the requirements of federal state educational standards at all stages of training students in an agricultural institution.

During the lesson it was possible to see that one of the first-year students of non-agricultural specialties got acquainted with the exhibits for the first time. Other guys, on the contrary, already possess this technique in full, know how to serve it and prepare for field work - every year the soldiers of the Student Specialized Squad "Kolos" work on the fields of the educational and experimental farm of the university with an area of ​​9 500 thousand hectares. They also told other alma mater students about the harvester, tractors and other agricultural units presented.

Of course, most of the others are practically aware of these issues and much is known already from personal practice by future engineers-mechanics - students of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization of SSAU. The students of this faculty acquire skills for operation, maintenance and repair of the machine and tractor fleet not only in special laboratories, but also in the training and experimental farm of the Agrarian University, where the best samples of agricultural machinery are at their disposal: tractors JohnDeere 6534D, MTZ-892, MTZ-1221, combines ACROS-530, ACROS-580, universal power tool UES-250, selection harvester RS-2010 TERRION, sowing complexes FlexiCoilST-820, cultivators, plows, fertilizer spreaders, etc. Some of these samples were placed on the exhibition site.

So, the students were able to get acquainted personally with combine harvesters - ACROS-585 and Palesse GS14, self-propelled sprayer John Deere 4720, tractors "Kirovets 744R2", NewHolland Т9.505 and Fеndt-936 Vario, two trucks KAMAZ-65115, deal with their technical characteristics. The profoundest and most tricky questions on the part of the students were professionally answered not only by the teachers, but also by the soldiers of the mechanized grain-harvesting group Kolos. It's not for nothing that this group won the All-Russian contest of specialized student groups of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia in the nomination "Mechanization" in 2016.

The Faculty of Veterinary medicine of the Stavropol SAU demonstrated the all-wheel drive vehicle Volkswagen Multivan at the exhibition. Such "An early veterinary help" was represented by the student specialized medical veterinary detachment "Aibolit" under the guidance of the 5th year student commander Vladimir Nikulin.

Recall that the detachment "Aibolit" is a multiple winner and winner of the All-Russian contest of specialized student groups of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia in the category "Livestock". So the soldiers of the detachment reported that the technology demonstrated by them is equipped with a mobile diagnostic and treatment complex for research and treatment of animals in various livestock enterprises and organizations. Depending on the specific situation, the mobile veterinary laboratory is equipped with scientific and innovative equipment or a mobile operating, X-ray diagnostic and therapeutic unit for performing specific veterinary manipulation.

The Faculty of Technological Management in the conditions of the exhibition company presented the development of a regional model for the formation and management of highly productive genetic resources for livestock production in the example of the Stavropol Territory. All interested persons could see the visiting laboratory of the Center for Management of Highly Efficient Genetic Resources for Livestock, which consists of an expert-boniner and control-assistant service, reference equipment for milk quality assessment and genetic control. This innovative technique from the faculty was represented by the team of the Center under the guidance of the Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Department of Private Zootechnics, breeding and breeding of animals of the SSAU Sergey Alexandrovich Oleinik.

The students of the Agrarian University of various faculties who visited the exhibition expressed their desire to continue participating in such practice-oriented events in order to be as informed as possible about the achievements of domestic and foreign agricultural machinery, and assured that they were eager to try everything in practice, personally. In turn, the university's management, the deans of the faculties of the Stavropol State Agrarian University intend to continue to expand the boundaries of knowledge and training of students, providing comprehensive training of highly qualified specialists for the agricultural sector of the economy of the Stavropol Territory and Russia.
