In the regional stages teams from 43 agricultural universities, 23 secondary schools and 7 student brigades competed. All of them presented their business ideas to a competent regional jury. Experts who tested the projects to meet various significant criteria, out of 73 papers selected 43 best ideas. Members of the expert commission noted the variety of topics and the quality of their implementation, so the final game was invited to 12 teams more than last year.
