Organization of the budgetary process in the Stavropol Territory

Chairman of the Committee of the Duma of the Stavropol Territory on the budget, taxes and financial and credit policy, Yu. V. Belyi delivered a lecture to students of the accounting and financial department of the Stavropol State University.

The event was opened on April 19 by the head of the Department of Finance, Credit and Insurance, Irina Ivanovna Glotova, who presented the lecturer - formerly a graduate of the Stavropol Agricultural Institute, now Honorary Professor of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Yuri Vasilyevich Belyi.

Yu. V. Belyi went on the road from the engineer of the safety of the state farm "Chuguyevsky" of the Soviet district and the chairman of the collective farm "Path of Lenin" to the first deputy minister of agriculture of the Stavropol Territory and chairman of the Duma of the Stavropol Territory, and currently heads one of its committees - on Budget, taxes and financial and credit policy.

During the lecture, Yuri Vasilievich outlined the features of the budget process at the regional level, the interaction of participants in the budget process in the development and implementation of state (municipal) programs, identified the main problems in the formation and execution of regional and municipal budgets. In addition, Yu. V. Belyi said what the regional Duma is currently working on, the risks faced by the economy of Stavropol in the current conditions, and key features of its development in the coming years. The special attention of the students was drawn to the fact that the increase of the population's well-being is possible only on the basis of a stable growth of the economy, which can not be achieved without investments.

The lecture ended with a lively discussion of the chairman of the Stavropol Krai Duma Committee on Budget, Taxes, and Financial and Credit Policy with students of the Accounting and Finance Department who asked questions of interest to them and shared their thoughts and ideas on managing public finances.
