Student competition of projects on rural tourism was a success

At the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism of Stavropol State Agrarian University, a competition was organized in the framework of the discipline "Organization of service activities of rural tourism facilities".

Invited teachers from Utena University of Applied Sciences (Lithuania), as well as employees of the Department of Tourism and Service of Agrarian University Yu.M. Elfimova, K.Yu. Mikhailova, A.G. Ivolga evaluated the projects of students of the 2nd year of the training direction "Service".

Each of the projects demonstrated was accompanied not only by a presentation with a detailed disclosure of its concept, but also by exhibiting author's models, which the guys made with their own hands.

So, for example, the basis of the project "Russian Court" is the idea of organizing a guest ethnographic tourist complex. "Kuban lakes" is a student project related to rural fishing tourism. "Green village" can become a model of eco-technological tourism of premium class. Students are also ready to implement the project of the children's equestrian sports camp "Favorite". Interesting for the implementation was the project Kalmyk ethno-village "Narta Teg." It is oriented to agrarian tourism and the project of the tourist recreation center "Hope" has all chances for success.

Since all student projects turned out to be very worthy according to the plan and originally performed by the contestants, the definition of winners became a challenge for the competent jury. As a result, the jury members expressed their gratitude for resourcefulness and diligence to all six competing teams that received certificates of participation in the tourist competition.
