The history of ancient myths

Student volunteer detachment "Tolk" and the Department of Philosophy and History of SSAU were the initiators of the unusual quest.

The main idea of ​​the quest "The History of Ancient Myths" is to introduce the participants of the game, who were students of the Stavropol State University, with the mythology of Ancient Greece and Rome. The organizers of the event were Tolk Volunteers under the supervision of A. Spodyreva, 2nd year student of the Accounting and Finance Department, and teachers of the Department of Philosophy and History headed by the head of the department, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor S.P. Zolotarev.

During the game, participants had to go through a chain of 9 stations, perform a certain task and thus reach the finish line. At the stations the students got acquainted with ancient characters - the god Zeus, the goddess of love and beauty Aphrodite, the greatest hero of ancient Greek mythology Hercules, the goddess of organized war, military strategy and wisdom Athena Pallada and performed their tasks. The children had a hard time - it was necessary to "hit the cloud with lightning", overcome the "web", open the "Box of Pandora" and recall the 12 exploits of Hercules. But the teams of the faculties of veterinary medicine, financial accounting and economics were originally set for a serious game and with honor passed all the stations of the quest "The History of Ancient Myths".

Participants of the event received many positive emotions, a positive charge, demonstrating excellent knowledge of the history of Ancient Greece and Rome and the ability to work together in a team.
