Educational process development: innovative technologies and methods of teaching

Within the framework of the 82nd scientific-practical conference "University science - region", a session of the section of the Training and Methodological Council of the Stavropol State University was held.

In his welcoming remarks to the conference participants, the Vice-Rector for Academic and Educational Work Ivan Atanov noted:

- Characteristic features of the educational process modernization at the Stavropol State Agrarian University are the desire to improve the quality of education, its fundamental and integration, strengthen the humanistic orientation, increase the variability, the role of independent work of students and technological development of the learning process.

To date, the educational and methodological support of the educational process at the agricultural university is characterized by a variety of educational programs. Nevertheless, the issues of improving the educational process remain at the focus of attention of the leadership and academic staff of the Stavropol State University.

Further participants of the section listened to Vladislav Anatolyevich Porublev, Professor of the Department of Parasitology and Vnesensexpertiza, Anatomy and Pathanatomy of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, who focused on the advantages of using electronic teaching aids in the course of teaching the discipline "Anatomy of Animals". Professor of the Department of Mechanics and Computer Graphics at the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization Sultan Nanuovich Kapov spoke about the features of the implementation of linear programming in the MathCad system. Associate Professor of the Department of Financial Management and Banking Accounting of Finance Faculty Elena Nikolaevna Lapina in detail highlighted the problem of competence development for financial literacy of students of agricultural universities. Senior lecturer of the Department of State and Municipal Management and Law of the Faculty of Economics Dmitry Sergeevich Tokmakov reported on the effectiveness of the business game methods application in the teaching of the legal disciplines cycle. During the meeting, other issues of innovative technologies and training methods were discussed. Results of the section “Educational and Methodological Council of SSAU” will be presented in the collection of works.
