Within the framework of the celebration of the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture on May 24, the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication of StGAU organized a competition of public speeches among 1st year students of the direction "Accounting, Analysis and Audit".
First-year students of the Accounting and Finance Department of the Agrarian University prepared speech presentations on the canons of classical rhetoric, dedicated to the three-part structure of various types of speech.
The students' speeches were related to the history of the origin of the holiday - the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture, they also considered the impact of the development of society on the structure and formation of the language. Special interest among the audience was caused by the theme of the language passport of a modern educated young man.
It is very important that all students were unanimous in opinion: the speech culture of the youth is one of the aspects of the modern harmoniously developed person. It's time to think about how to properly treat our, on the one hand, "great and mighty", and on the other hand - "gentle and woundable” Russian language!
