III International Forum of Creative Unions "White Acacia" organized the day of short motion films at Stavropol Agrarian University. SSAU students could not miss one of the key events of the year.
The Forum started by Imperial Russian Ballet was continued with exhibitions, concerts and other interesting events. One of them was short motion film event organized at Stavropol SAU on May 26th-27th.
Dmitry Yakunin, moderator of the meeting, executive director of the Youth Center of Russian filmmakers union, producer, was very enthusiastic about the event and projects.
The viewers were interested to know more about the life of a protagonist acted by Larisa Udovichenko in physical comedy "Karma" directed by V. Grammatikov. They tried to predict the story of Svetlana Khodchenkova’s hero in "Mama" directed by Kirill Pletnev that won the "Golden Eagle" award of the National Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Russia.
«All the five films were very profound and different, but each had its own suspense. It’s quite rare in modern full-length films», – said students.
Krasnodar, Sverdlovsk studio and “Chechen-film” taught master-classes and presentations for future directors and scriptwriters.
