Yu. P. Proskurnikov, the head of the greenhouse and greenhouse complex laboratory, and M. V. Selivanova, associate professor of the department of production and processing of food products from plant raw materials of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources took part in the VII International Symposium for vegetable producers in professional greenhouses in Gelendzhik.
The event was held within the framework of intensive development of the protected ground. The main agronomists, heads of greenhouse enterprises from all over Russia, representatives from Kazakhstan, Belarus, experts in technologies of growing vegetables from the Netherlands gathered in the conference hall "Kempinski Grand Hotel Gelendzhik" on May 23-24.
The program of the symposium "Innovative technologies of vegetable production in professional greenhouse complexes" was very intense. Representatives of Monsanto Holland B.V. - Eugenio Royalofoss and Jack Einhoven and the company Monsanto Rus - Danil Dolgush and Mikhail Khoroshev have highlighted the experience and problems of year-round cucumber production in greenhouse complexes in Russia and abroad using light culture, an effective marketing strategy and assortment policy in greenhouse production. Leading specialist on IPM / AO Shelling Rus Askar Akhatov told about integrated protection of cucumber in modern greenhouses using biological protection methods.
The experts of the protected ground exchanged experience on production technologies and ways of protecting vegetables, lean production and personnel policy in greenhouse farms.
