The final round of the All-Russian competition for the best scientific work among students, graduate students and young scientists of the universities of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation took place in Moscow at Russian State Agrarian University on May 24-25. Igor Devedorkin, postgraduate student of the Electric Power Department of the SSAU, won the contest in the nominations "Agroengineering" and "Technical Sciences".
Young researchers from 17 agricultural universities of the country applied for the All-Russian competition. The project of I. Devedorkin was written under supervision of professor Gennady Vladimirovich Nikitenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department of Electricity in Agriculture of SSAU, and was devoted to the justification of operational parameters and modes of synchronous generator as part of the autonomous wind energy system of sheepfold power supply.
The expert commission included V.I. Balabanov, the dean of the faculties of Processes and machines in agribusiness and of Electric Power Supply, S.L. Belopukhov, vice-rector of the RSAU, K.R. Ponomarchuk, leading adviser of the Education Department of the Department of Science and Technology Policy and Education of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, G.N. Samarin, Head of the Chair "Mechanization of Livestock and Electric Energy in Agriculture" of the Velikolukskaya SAA, S.M. Sidorenko, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanization Kuban State Agrarian University named after Trubilin, N.V. Skorokhodov, Deputy Director General of the Association "Agroobrazovanie" and V. Smelik, Head of the Department of Technical Systems in Agribusiness of St. Petersburg State University.
The graduate student is sure that the result of his victory is based on the complex work of the department "Application of electric energy in agriculture" of the Electric Power Department of SSAU, where he conducts his research. After the award Igor Devedorkin thanked Russian State Agrarian University, and all the organizers of the competition.
