Evgeni Zashepkin, graduate of "Plant Protection" program of Stavropol State Agrarian University won international contest for students and graduate students in the nomination "Professionally specialized competences".
The international contest for students and graduate students "University knowledge - 2017" is held within the framework of GEF requirements under the federal project "Science and education on-line" of the International Center for Scientific Research Projects (ICNIP) and the project "Intellectual Development of Young Scientists".
The contest is organized for bachelors, undergraduate and post-graduate students of higher educational institutions. There were offered 4 nominations:
- general cultural competences;
- general professional competences;
- professional competences;
- professionally-specialized competences.
Yevgeny Zashchepkin submitted abstract of his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences in "Phytosanitary condition and productivity of winter wheat with the technology of direct sowing on leached chernozem in Central Ciscaucasia" (supervisor - Anna Petrovna Shutko, doctor of agricultural sciences, associate professor, head of the Department of Chemistry and Plant Protection of Stavropol State Agrarian University). The thesis was defended on December 9th, 2016 at the Saratov State Agrarian University named after N.I. Vavilov.
Yevgeny Zashchepkin had been a winner at Russian competition for the best scientific work among students, graduate students and young scientists of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation in 2010. He became the laureate of the award to support talented young people. E. Zaschepkin is a registered fellow of Bayer CJSC in 2011, in 2011/2012 he got a scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation and Syngenta LLC, where he works now.
