The tournament on financial literacy is a bright finale of the freshmen of the SSAU

The last day of spring was marked by the final event on financial literacy among students of the Agrarian University.

The event was organized by the Department of Financial Management and Banking within the framework of the regional program "Raising the level of financial literacy of the population of the Stavropol Territory and the development of financial education in the Stavropol Territory for 2014-2018." The meeting was opened by the coordinator of the regional program Nadezhda Ivanovna Gerasimenko, the Dean of the Financial and Accounting Department Elena Ivanovna Kostyukova and the Head of the chair of financial management and Banking Yulia Mikhailovna Sklyarova who wished the participants success in the final.

During the whole academic year, students of 9 faculties of the Agrarian University took part in qualifying tournaments in the form of master classes, trainings, business games and interactive exam conducted by the students of the volunteer unit "Financier". The most worthy and active came together in the final of the board game «Happiness is not in the Money."

Leaders - financially literate freshmen - were determined in a stubborn struggle with a minimal gap. The third place was awarded to students of the faculty of ecology and landscape architecture, the second place - students of the Faculty of Economics. The team of the Accounting and financial department, who demonstrated profound knowledge and well-coordinated teamwork, came out in the winners. Winners and prizewinners received memorable prizes, diplomas and cups, and all participants - new knowledge, invaluable experience and a charge of positive emotions
