Scientific engagement with profile Research Institute

An assistant professor of the department of technology of production and processing of agricultural products of Stavropol State Agrarian University Voblikova T.V. took part in the implementation of scientific research on the basis of Moscow Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology. Within the framework of the project "Development of biotechnology of fermented products using immobilized probiotic cultures of microorganisms", a study of the survival of Bifidobacterium in a microcapsule in a model of the environment of the stomach and intestine under in vitro conditions was conducted in the biology laboratory of Bifidobacteriumunder the supervision of Olga Gennadievna Zhilenkova.

Gabrichevsky is a senior researcher at the Laboratory of Immunobiological Preparations, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Alexandra Vadimovna Melikhova. Under her guidance, a study of "acute" toxicity in mice by the method of Kerber. Observation of animals is carried out for 14 days, after the end of the observation period, calculate LD50, or the maximum tolerated dose. Currently, the experiment is being finalized.

Definition of the dermonecrotic properties was carried out in the conditions of the vivarium of Research Institute by the employees of the laboratory of immunobiological preparations. Irritant activity in vivo was performed on the anterior segment of the rabbit eye of the chinchilla breed. Research tasks also include the definition of "chronic" toxicity, and at the end of the experiment, pathomorphological studies will be performed.

The results of this research work will determine the safety of microcapsules consisting of natural biodegradable polymers for animals and confirm the effectiveness of the developed method for protecting bifidobacteria from aggressive factors of the action of the gastrointestinal tract and transferring them into the matrix of the dairy product into the intestine in a viable state.

In the opinion of Tatyana Vladimirovna Voblikova, associate professor of the project, the cooperation of Stavropol State Agrarian University with the specialized research institutes allows to approach the tasks set in the course of the research work in a complex manner and to exchange experience in the course of joint work.
