New academic year with big plans!

The Academic Council of Stavropol State Agrarian University, August 30, on the eve of the new academic year, took a course on solving strategic and current tasks.

At the beginning of the meeting of the enlarged Academic Council of Stavropol State Agrarian University, the honorary mission of the awarding on the eve of the Veterinary Worker Day was performed by the head of the Veterinary Department of the Stavropol Territory Alexander Nikolaevich Tregubov.

"Today I am proud, happy and happy to award departmental awards of the Veterinary Administration of the Stavropol Territory to my colleagues, friends, veterinary specialists, teachers of my native Agrarian University. To the Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Ivanovich Truhachev on behalf of the veterinary workers of Stavropol, A.N. Tregubov presented a wonderful folio - a two-volume edition "The History of Veterinary Medicine in Russia and Its Subjects" in a gift design. The book, which, of course, will be in demand by future veterinarians, will take a worthy place in the Scientific Library of Stavropol State Agrarian University. Such a sign of attention to his mentor, teacher, and now his colleague was also due to the fact that exactly 40 years ago, in August 1977, at the end of the veterinary department of Stavropol Agricultural Institute, V. I. Truhachev began to perform the duties of a senior veterinarian of the state plant "Kuban »Of the Stavropol Territory.

Further, with the conferment of the title of "Honored Worker of Veterinary Medicine of the Stavropol Territory", A. N. During the solemn part of the meeting of the Academic Council the rector of State Agrarian University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences V. I. Truhachev presented the certificate of associate professor Egor Vladimirovich Kulayev, associate professor of the Department of Processes and Machines in Agribusiness (on the scientific specialty "Technologies and Means of Agricultural Mechanization"). Later, the head of the agrarian higher education institution announced the key points and directions of the university's activity in the coming school year. Among them - the forthcoming passage of state accreditation of educational activities on the eight educational programs of the master's program ("Information systems and technologies", "Food from vegetable raw materials", "Food of animal origin", "Operation of transport-technological machines and complexes", "Landscape architecture "," Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise "," Business Informatics "and" Tourism "), for which in February 2017 the licensing procedure was successfully passed.

- In the new academic year, work will continue on the international professional and public accreditation of the university's educational programs, - said the rector V.I. Trukhachev. - This procedure will be followed by four educational programs in the field of technology and technology with the assignment of the European quality mark ("Information Systems and Technologies", "Applied Informatics", "Operation of Transport-Technological Machines and Complexes" and "Landscape Architecture"). To do this, specialists from the Association of Engineering Education of Russia, the most acclaimed and recognized in the professional community, will be recruited.

One of the strategic tasks in the new academic year, the head of the university considers obtaining a license for the right to conduct educational activities under programs of secondary vocational education. The licensing procedure for 15 educational programs is scheduled for January 2018. According to the rector of State Agrarian University, the introduction of these programs will strengthen and strengthen the university's position in the market of educational services and labor market, create a system of continuous multi-level education, provide the regional labor market with employees of various qualifications, increase employment of graduates, and effectively use the human resources.

- We begin the new academic year with the international recognition of the university, - said V. I. Truhachev. - Stavropol State Agrarian University received the highest platinum level of recognition of Excellence (more than 700 points) in the EFQM project "Global Index of Excellence" as the leading organization in the education sector in Europe!

The rector emphasized that the main educational vector is still the practice-oriented approach in teaching. Currently, the university is fully staffed by all the disciplines taught. The teaching staff is set to fulfill strategic and current tasks with the maximum use of the existing high-level material and technical base, is ready to become even more active to participate in grant activities in various areas and intends to act in unison with the agricultural enterprises of the region in order to further ensure the Stavropol Territory universal highly qualified specialists of the agrarian sphere.
