State support - in favor of agrarian education

Additional education and privileges for admission to the agrarian university – to workers of the agro-industrial complex, places for intentional learning - for graduates of rural schools - all this will be supported by the regional Ministry of Agriculture in the form of subsidies. Representatives of Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the discussion of these issues.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Stavropol Territory will provide grants to the workers of the agro-industrial complex in terms of obtaining additional education and preferential admission to the university. This was discussed on the weekly planer, which was chaired by the first deputy head of the agrarian department Roman Kovryga. As noted, subsidies are granted to enterprises registered and operating in Stavropol Territory and included in the regional register of state support for agricultural development.

- Additional education includes both refresher courses and professional retraining. We have more than 16 programs, including the directions "Administrative and management personnel", "Agronomics", "Labor protection", "Zootechnics", "Electrification" and "Mechanization". Upon completion of the training, the participant will receive a certificate or a diploma of the established type, "said Olga Lisova, director of the Institute of Further Professional Education of Stavropol State Agrarian University.

Also in Stavropol region, state support will continue in the part of providing places for intentional learning for graduates from rural areas. Participants of the program will be enrolled in the university on a separate competition, they will receive an additional scholarship from the company and guaranteed jobs after graduation.

- The agrarian policy of Stavropol Territory provides decent working conditions in rural areas for graduates. For this purpose, it is necessary to form a need for specialists of the agricultural profile for the next year and ensure the participation of villagers in the announced state support programs, - Roman Kovryga summarized.
