This is our story - yours and mine!

In Stavropol, the museum-exhibition complex "Russia - My History" was opened. Not only the spectators of its solemn opening, but also the volunteer organizers were students and teachers of Stavropol State Agrarian University.

- This is a living history textbook: amazing, unique, multimedia. Here you feel some personal involvement in the events of more than a thousand-year history of our Motherland. The feeling of pride overwhelms, it is very interesting, - the students of Stavropol State Agrarian University, who visited the opening ceremony of the complex, shared on September 5. - It's great that this unusual museum appeared in our city! The opening ceremony was attended by Governor Vladimir Vladimirov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasus Federal District Oleg Belaventsev, deputies, representatives of the clergy, Cossacks, public organizations, delegations from the regions of the North Caucasus and the South of Russia.

Before the beginning of the ceremony, Metropolitan Kirill of Stavropol and Nevinnomysk commissioned the consecration of a monument to the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, the Baptizer of Russia. Thirteen-meter sculptural composition was installed on the eve oo the square, attached to the museum and exhibition complex. On the opening of the multimedia historical park "Russia - My Story", residents of Stavropol and guests of the holiday were congratulated by Vladimir Vladimirov:

- The history of Russia is our common history, in it there is an important point of support for everyone. And in the great past of our Fatherland, children should be brought up, who should build the future of their Motherland and their land. Thanks to the President of our country, on the initiative of whom historical parks are created in the regions. Thanks to this decision, the "time of history" comes in place of the "period of timelessness", when our past was "torn" to one side or the other.

The head of Stavropol noted the educational opportunities of the complex, which will be used to conduct classes on history and local history, patriotic education of children and youth. The unique multimedia-historical park of 7.5 thousand square meters has no analogues in the southern regions of Russia. The content of the museum is based on sensory, projection and laser technologies, with their help all the major historical milestones of the Fatherland are reflected. Along with the erection of the building and the creation of a museum exposition, landscaping of the adjoining territory was carried out, and at the entrance to the complex there were installed 16 bas-reliefs of outstanding figures who made a great contribution to the development of Stavropol Territory.

At the opening, a colorful theatrical program was organized with art-playgrounds, in which, along with other collectives, a show-ballet from SSAU "Stylish Things" took part. There were 22 representatives of the volunteer staff of the university, members of the groups "Volunteer", "Care", "TOLK", there were organizational tasks – these were meeting and support of visitors.

"We regulate the flow of people hurrying to visit an unusual museum, watch them managing the management of multimedia equipment," says Inna Kuliyeva, a student at the accounting and financial faculty of SSAU.

Speaking about her impressions of the museum - Inna was in a similar complex in Moscow - the student noted an even greater number of interactive racks, where everyone can not only learn new knowledge of history, but also learn from all angles some historical actions, objects, inventions etc.

- Everyone stared at the unusual floor with illumination. Shattering under the feet, it seems to "feel" the steps of the incoming person, thereby creating the impression of the museum as a living organism that waits for its visitors and begins to react to their appearance, and then contacts with them. This is helped by 900 interactive touch screens, a projection dome, video panels with three-dimensional historical reconstructions and audio guides, - I. Kulieva explained.

The museum complex itself unites four large-scale expositions - "Romanovs", "Rurikovichi", "From great upheavals to the Great Victory" and "Russia. My history. 1945-2016". A distinctive feature of the exposition of Stavropol Historical Park is the regional component, which was carried out at a high professional level by specialists from the local history museum. It focuses on the main milestones in the history of Stavropol, the contribution of the Russian Orthodox Church to the strengthening of ties between different peoples.

Note that the first excursion to the new museum complex was conducted by the vicar of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Bishop Tikhon of Egorievsky (Shevkunov), who owns the very idea of the unique exposition. The Chairman of the Patriarchal Council for Culture, whose idea was supported by President Vladimir V. Putin, arrived in Stavropol the day before. In the assembly hall of Stavropol Seminary, Vladyka Tikhon met with the clergy, teachers and employees of the city's universities, students of the theological seminary and the Regency School, catechists. Active participation in the event from Stavropol State Agrarian University was then received by the teacher of the Department of Feeding and General Biology Andrushko A.M. and methodologist of the Faculty of Technological Management Rymarevich E. Yu. Vladyka told about the history of the project "Russia - My History", where the entire 1000-year history of our country is represented from ancient times to today. It was about the importance of such a museum complex for Stavropol region - a multinational region, in which the culture, religions and languages of the most diverse peoples inhabiting the North Caucasus are historically linked.
