On the inadmissibility of committing offenses: dialogues with first-year students

Preventive conversation with the students of SSAU was conducted on September 7 by the head of police department No. 1 of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Stavropol E.A. Sysoev and the employee of the department for juvenile affairs A.Yu. Kopotilov.

At the meeting, which took place in the assembly hall of Stavropol State Agrarian University, there were 287 underage students.

The event was opened by Colonel of Police Yevgeny Alexandrovich Sysoev. In conversation with first-year students, he noted that the concept of "offense" is the guilty behavior of the subject, contrary to regulatory requirements, causing harm to others, and entails legal responsibility. Of course, all offenses to some extent represent a social danger. During the conversation, Yevgeny Alexandrovich spoke in detail about the liability provided for by law for crimes and administrative offenses committed by persons under the age of 18. Particular attention in the conversation was given to security in social networks and personal responsibility of each person for information posted on the Internet.

The conversation with the students was continued by another participant of the meeting - police lieutenant Andrey Yuryevich Kopotilov, who made the main accent on the dangers of the use and distribution of narcotic substances. He also dwelt on the topic of illegality of participation in unsanctioned meetings.

It should be noted that during the dialogue students asked relevant questions and actively expressed their opinion. Such preventive conversations of police officers with first-year students, organized by the department for educational work and social issues of Stavropol State University, have long become traditional at the Agrarian University and are held in the framework of cooperation and close cooperation with the Police Department No. 1 of Stavropol of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Stavropol Territory.
