On the bronze pedestal of the world tournament on arm-wrestling is a freshman of the Stavropol State Agrarian University

Akhmat Aibazov, the 1st year student of the faculty of Economics of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, took the third place at the 39th World Junior Championships in arm-wrestling, held in the Hungarian capital, Budapest.

Despite the fact that arm wrestling is not an Olympic sport, young people are now involved in wrestling in many parts of the world. Thus, in the world-class competitions, more than 500 people participated in one of the most popular martial arts from the second to the 11th of September.

The fight between the juniors was tough, and the fights were difficult. In the lightest junior category of guys, as a result of supermatch, the first-year student of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Ahmad Aibazov took the third step of the pedestal.

Congratulations on the bronze victory of the talented team leader and wish him to achieve new sports peaks! Let us note that in Russia the oldest sport - armwrestling - gained ground only in the 1990s.
