The title "Finisher of the Year - 2017" was awarded to the teacher of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Elena Ostapenko

On September 14, in the Moscow club "Izvestia Hal"l, within the framework of the celebration of the All-Russian professional holiday "The Day of the Financier", one of the most anticipated events of the autumn took place - the finale of the intellectual cultural and business contest "Financier of the Year - 2017".

The competition was organized by the Non-commercial partnership "The Community of Financial Market Professionals" Sapphire "and the International Public Organization Guild of Financiers with the support of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the Bank of Russia.

The annual competition is held since 2011 among the fair sex of all financial professions working in organizations of various industries; in subdivisions engaged in investment sphere, financial management, audit, currency control accounting; on civil service, as well as among employees of financial organizations of Russia, teachers and students of financial departments and universities.

In 2017, the contest "Financier of the Year - 2017" was held in all federal districts of Russia.

Within the first round on-line from July, 10th till August, 25th voting for participants of competition on a site of a holiday "Day of the financier" has passed. By results of voting in the finals, then 8 contestants were held - one representative from each of the eight federal districts of our country.

In the three stages of the final, participants showed the main components of success: intelligence, business and communication skills, charm and beauty. The decision in the choice of the winner was accepted not only by viewers through SMS voting, but also by an expert jury composed of: Gryaznova Alla Georgievna, the chairman of the jury, the president of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, the vice-president of the International Guild of Financiers; Anatoly G. Gavrilenko, Chairman of the Expert Council on Financial Literacy of the Bank of Russia, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the non-profit partnership "Community of Financial Market Professionals" Sapphire "; Belyaev Mikhail Kimovich, chief economist at the Institute of Stock Market and Management; Korolev Sergey Mikhailovich, managing partner of the International Financial Reporting Center, Pavel Alekseevich Medvedev, financial ombudsman; Zhamanov Ahmed Bilyalovich, vice-president, director of the administrative department of MTS-Bank.

According to the results of general evaluations, the winner of the contest was the representative of the North Caucasus Federal District, Elena Anatolievna Ostapenko, candidate of economic sciences, associate professor of the department of financial management and banking, deputy dean for educational work at the accounting and financial department of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. Congratulations to Elena Anatolyevna with a well-deserved victory!
