The town of Mikhaylovsk hosted the annual exhibition, which was organized in the framework of the III International investment forum "Agroyug".
Participation in the celebration was attended by the Governor of Stavropol Region Vladimir Vladimirov, Deputy of the State Duma Alexei Lavrinenko, Deputy Chairman of the regional Duma Victor Goncharov, head of the Duma Committee on agrarian and land issues, environment and ecology Ivan Bogachev, and first Deputy Chairman of the regional government Nikolai Velikdan, head of the agricultural Department of the region Vladimir Sitnikov, the rector of the Stavropol state agrarian University, Academician Vladimir Trukhachev, agricultural producers and guests of the exhibition – more than 1.5 thousand people.
Visitors got acquainted with the novelties of agricultural machinery, machinery and equipment, unique tribal animals and birds, their achievements here and shared the Stavropol state agrarian University, which is traditionally one of the main participants "Agroyug".
Scientists of the Stavropol GAU demonstrated a mobile laboratory for the analysis of milk quality, development of optimum breeding and technological model cow production type, adapted for the South of Russia, the new import-substituting technology of cultivation of potato seed through Aeroponics. The guests of the exhibition were offered vegetables grown in greenhouses of the Agricultural University, the samples of wheat self-selection, latest stands for energy and power, agriculture mechanization, living systems, environmental management and other innovations.
The exhibition presented their products more than 120 enterprises, including 77 48 livestock and crop farms, the guests were shown 200 elite animals of 60 different species, including highly productive sheep breed "Russian meat Merino", the best local varieties of fruit, vegetables and grapes.
