Scientific results - in production
Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology of SSAU continues to expand the introduction of scientific results of its work in production on the territory of the farms of the Stavropol Territory. For example, one more enterprise was added to the already existing strategic partners of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources - the agrofirma "Zolotaya Niva". The staff of the department together with the company "EuroChem" in the territory of "Zolotaya Niva" laid the production experience in determining the productivity of crops and the efficiency of using batteries from fertilizers.
Good prospects are opened by another recently held working meeting - teachers of the automation laboratory of the electric power Faculty with specialists from the scientific and industrial company "Aries" (Moscow) and OOO "MaxProfiElectro" (Stavropol).
In the automation laboratory of the electric power faculty, within the framework of the agreement on strategic cooperation and partnership, professional subjects were discussed by the assistant of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Automation and Metrology Dmitry Ushkur and specialists from the Research and Production Association "OVEN" (Moscow), who is the national leader in the field of development and production modern means of industrial automation, and OOO "MaxProfiElectro" - the official dealer of the company "Oven" in Stavropol. In the course of it, representatives of the companies got acquainted with the work of the university laboratory, once again confirming the high level of the technical and educational-methodical base presented. As a result of communication, directions for the development of partnership relations were outlined. They concern both measures to increase the efficiency of the training and practical laboratory of automation, and to solve the problems of engineering personnel in the production of the Stavropol Territory.
On holiday - to partners
The Faculty of Technological Management has been cooperating with the "Baksan Broiler" agro-group for several years, which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. The successfully developing integrated holding of the closed cycle for the production of chicken broiler meat is headed by the general director Mazhid Musafarov, the company successfully employs production director Alexander Burak, chief veterinarian Galina Kalanchuk.
- The Agro group consists of several production sites in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic and in the Stavropol Territory. They meet the most advanced and modern technologies in the field of world meat poultry farming, - says Elena Epimakhova, doctor of agricultural sciences, professor of the department of private zootechny and breeding of animals. Recently she visited the Novotroitskaya village of Izobilnensky district where she attended the solemn opening of the No. 3 site of the Baksansky Broiler agro-group to grow broiler chickens "Ross-308" and, of course, congratulated the strategic partners on behalf of the management of the university. With this enterprise, the faculty of technological management carries out scientific and creative cooperation for many years.
When asked which professional equipment attracted special attention, E.E. Epimakhova responded as follows:
- At the site No. 3, the poultry houses are equipped with three-tiered cell batteries of the Automat brand from the Lipetsk company Tekhna to grow broilers with robotic unloading for slaughter, as well as lighting and ventilation systems for the Nevinnomyssk company Microel. The estimated gross production of poultry meat TM "Baksan-Broiler" is more than 22 thousand tons.

Employees of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources - Head of the Greenhouse and Greenhouse Complex Laboratory Yuri Proskurnikov and Associate Professor of the Department of Production and Processing of Foodstuffs from Vegetable Raw Materials Maria Selivanova took part in the seminar "Highly productive varieties and hybrids of vegetable crops and modern technologies for their cultivation" organized by the Ministry of Agriculture Stavropol Territory on the basis of "Shpakovskoe".
In this modern specialized farm, much attention is paid to the cultivation of vegetable crops, which employ about 200 hectares. All works in the agricultural enterprise are carried out using the latest technology. This applies to the preparation of soil, and the planting of quality seed, cleaning, sorting, laying for storage, as well as processing and delivery to consumers. Employees of the State Agrarian University visited the demonstration crops of vegetable crops, planted in seedlings, and got acquainted with the planting of seedlings in the field.
The theoretical part of the event was held on the basis of the recreational zone of the economy. Here, Mikhail Dyrenko, the head of the department of vegetable growing and melioration of the regional Ministry of Agriculture, presented information on measures to support the production of vegetables in 2017. During the seminar, the assortment of modern hybrids of vegetable crops, the issues of the system of protection of vegetable crops and potatoes from pests and diseases and the use of intensive cultivation technology with the use of drip irrigation were considered. At the end of the seminar Vladimir Tselovalnikov discussed with the producers the problems of selling vegetable products and ways to solve them.
According to the scientists of the State Agrarian University, in the conditions of intensive development of the vegetable-growing industry in the region, carrying out such activities is very relevant and very useful.
