Stavropol State Agrarian University took the baton WorldSkills Russia

September 27-29 on the basis of the Kuban State Agrarian University, there passed the first industry championship of professional skills in the field of agriculture according to WorldSkills standards "AgroSkills" in the competence of "Agronomics". As an expert and an out-of-competition participant, representatives of the Stavropol State Agrarian University spoke here.

The purpose of the industry championship "Young Professionals" is to update the mechanisms of staffing of the agricultural sector of the economy by sectoral workers and engineering professions on the basis of international standards, using effective tools for developing human resources and an end-to-end system for monitoring the quality of training.

Stavropol State Agrarian University at the championship of professional skills in KubSAU was represented by the associate professor of the Department of General Agriculture, Plant Production and Breeding named after Professor F.I. Bobryshev of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of SSAU as an expert Elena Borisovna Drepa and master student of the first year of training in the direction of "Agronomy" Zuyev Peter, who took part in the competition.

Thus, Stavropol State Agrarian University took the baton of the industry championship of professional skills in the sphere of agriculture according to WorldSkills standards in the competence of "Veterinary", which will be held at the Agrarian University from October 30 to November 1, 2017.

Conducting the segment of the industry championship of professional skills in the sphere of agriculture according to the WorldSkills standards "AgroSkills" in the competence of "Veterinary" will allow to generalize the best practices in the demanded professions in the field of agriculture, create conditions for the professional development of the employees of the agroindustrial complex enterprises, update the training mechanisms in the field of veterinary medicine, attract attention of target audience to the decision of strategic problems of development of professional training.

A participant in the championship may be an employee of an enterprise or a student of a corporate or government institution cooperating with the enterprise, at the age of 18 to 28 years (from 28 to 35 years old - out of competition), having practical skills in the field of veterinary science, sufficient to fulfill the competitive task in this competence.
