At Electric Power Faculty, the traditional intellectual game "ERA EPF" was held among first-year students. The game is conducted on the initiative of the students themselves in order to form an analytical mind and develop thinking.
The abbreviation for the name of the game "ERA" has its logical decoding: E - erudition; R is the reason; A - ambition. In any case, the initiators of the game, the students of Electric Power Faculty, laid the very meaning in this name.
For the title of scholars this time fought four teams, in each - five people. And each team had its own distinctive signs, motto and its own support group, which raised the morale of the participants.
The game was held in three stages and included assignments of varying degrees of complexity. This allowed any participant to prove himself in a certain scientific field and show all his skills and knowledge.
The first stage contained questions of a general nature, so that the guys quickly joined the game. Each question was evaluated in one point. In the second round, tasks of a graphic type were offered, giving the correct answer to which the team received two points. In the third, more complex stage, in-depth knowledge in various fields was required, where three points could be obtained for the answer.
As a result of the event, all students received diplomas for the participation, organization and conduct of the game "ERA EPF". Three first-year intellectuals were awarded in the following nominations: Ramazan Turaev was named the best player, Sergei Artyushenko was encouraged for the most original answer, and Dmitri Zhabin was awarded for erudition.
