By the anniversary of the world-famous sheep breeder Vasily Andreevich Moroz, a biobibliographical index

The publication prepared by the staff of the University Scientific Library replenished the series "Biobibliography of Scientists of Stavropol State University".

The biobibliographical index was prepared within the framework of the project of the Scientific Library of SSAU "Popularization of the works of leading scientists of Stavropol Agrarian University" and timed to the 80th anniversary of the Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Vasily Andreevich Moroz.

In the biobibliography of the only sheep-breeder in the country who has reached academic heights, Hero of Socialist Labor of V.A. Moroz, the main stages of his life, scientific, pedagogical, industrial activity are reflected; scientific and educational-methodical works, author's certificates, patents, works edited, as well as dissertations executed under the guidance of a scientist are listed.

During the meeting, the Director of the Scientific Library, Marina Vasilievna Obnavlenskaya, presented to Vasily Andreyovich Moroz author's copies of biobibliography. Irina Tkachenko, head of the information-bibliographic center, spoke about the glorious stages of the work path, about the awards and scientific works of Academician V.A. Moroz. In a relaxed atmosphere, over a cup of tea, Vasily Andreevich remembered interesting episodes of his life, work and scientific activity, expressed gratitude to the library staff for the work done.

In the new library, veterinary clinics also hosted a series of events with first-year students, where the children learned about the life course of Academician Vasily Andreevich Moroz, and got acquainted with his scientific works presented at the exhibition. The head of the information-bibliographic center I.V. Tkachenko recommended that the students of the faculties of technological management and veterinary medicine apply to the bibliographic index "Vasily Andreevich Moroz" when preparing educational and scientific works.
