A fourth-year student of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Voroshilova Alexandra was among the 18 winners of the contest, organized by Bayer Crop Science, one of the world leaders in the development and production of chemical plant protection products and biotechnologies.
The annual competition is held with the support of the Russian Union of Rural Youth.
Alexandra Voroshilova presented to the experts' court the scientific work "Efficacy of fungicides of Closed Joint Stock Company "Bayer" in winter wheat crops in the Stavropol Territory". The scientific advisors on the chosen topic were associate professors of the Department of Chemistry and Plant Protection of the Stavropol State Agrarian University L.V. Maznitsyna and Yu.A. Bezgina.
Awarding the winners of the contest, which included students from agrarian universities in Tomsk, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Kursk, Krasnodar, Irkutsk, Voronezh, Krasnoyarsk, Volgograd, took place in early October in Moscow. During the solemn ceremony of awarding the leaders of the contest, Nadezhda Stupikova, an organizational support specialist of the marketing department of Bayer, and Yulia Ogloblina, chairman of the Central Council of the Russian Union of Rural Youth, congratulated the winners. The winners were awarded diplomas, souvenirs with the company's logo, as well as certificates for a Bayer scholarship in the amount of 6 thousand rubles. And for the winners of the finals of the competition was organized a sightseeing tour that allowed the children to get acquainted with the sights of the capital.
