On October 10-11, 2017, the Grozny State Petroleum Technical University hosted the meetings of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association in the system of higher education in a larger group of specialties and training areas 21.00.00 "Applied Geology, Mining, Oil and Gas Business and Geodesy" and the Training and Methodological Council in the direction of preparation "Land Management and Cadaster ", in which the head of the department of Land Management and Cadaster later took part, the senior lecturer A.V. Loshakov.

During the meetings the following issues were discussed:

- The current state of higher education and the tasks of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association for a large group of specialties and training areas 21.00.00 "Applied geology, mining, oil and gas business and geodesy" and the educational and methodological council in the field of "Land Management and Cadaster " in the training of higher education;

- Adaptation of the basic educational programs of all directions of preparation to professional standards;

- Development of approximate basic educational programs in the areas and specialties to a large group of specialties and training areas 21.00.00 "Applied Geology, Mining, Oil and Gas Business and Geodesy";

- Scientific and methodological foundations of the organization of the educational process in the field of training "Land Management and Cadaster ".

After the meetings, working meetings were held with representatives of various scientific schools and laboratories, as well as excursions to the Grozny State Oil Technical University named after M.D. Millionshchikov and the city of Grozny.
