Finalist of the contest "Rector's School 12: Rector's Staff Reserve" - Dean of the Power Engineering Faculty of SSAU, M. Mastepanenko

On October 25 the final defense of the projects developed by the participants of the educational program implemented by the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo was held.

The program "Rector's School 12: Rector's Staff Reserve" was organized by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for senior management - heads (rectors and first vice-rectors) of educational institutions of higher education.

There was a program of 5 educational modules for 5 days, which included lectures, practical exercises, project work and case studies from Russian practitioners and experts. Rectors, first vice-rectors of Russian universities, managing directors and managers of medium and large businesses, who intend to develop in the sphere of education, as well as managers from the social and scientific sphere, state and municipal management took part in the competitive part of the program.

The program was supported by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, professors of the world's best business schools, practitioners and managers from universities and corporations. The defense of the final projects was attended by: Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Elena Astrakhantseva, Director of the Department of State Policy in Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Alexander Sobolev, Executive Director for Personnel and Social Policy of the State Corporation Roskosmos Alla Vuchkovic, Director of the "Young Professionals" autonomous non-profit organization "Agency of strategic initiatives to promote new projects" Dmitry Peskov, first deputy executive Director of the Department of Civil Service and Personnel of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation Mikhail Bakutin, Director of Personnel Management Department of JSC United Shipbuilding Corporation Artem Azhgirevich, Eduard Bobritsky Director of the Center for Educational Development of the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo Olga Nazaykinskaya, Head of Research Department of the All-Russia Public Organization "Union of Machine Builders of Russia",, programs, Professor Skolkovo Andrey Volkov, representatives of federal ministries and departments, representatives of the general governmental organizations, state corporations and business companies. They heard reports of project groups on the following topics: educational policy; research policy; innovation policy; structural composition; control; student environment; mission, positioning, identity, brand; engineering education.

74 participants entered the competition final, among which only four - representatives of agrarian universities of Russia. Among the finalists was the Dean of the Electric Power Department of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Maxim Mastepanenko.

Following the results of the program and the protection of projects, the graduates of the School will enter the Rector's staff reserve formed in pursuance of the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation on the results of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on July 14, 2015 No. Ord-1366, and will qualify for the position of rectors and top-managers of the country's universities.

In the end of protection of the final projects of the Program participants, Elena Astrakhantseva noted that the Center for Educational Development of the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo has experience in training management personnel. She expressed her confidence that the graduates of the educational program "Rector's School 12: Rector's staff Reserve" will contribute to improving the management of educational institutions of higher education, will give new impetus to the development of effective management systems for educational, scientific and administrative processes, as well as changes in the educational agenda in accordance with the needs of the labor market in the digital age.
