Employees of the Department of Entrepreneurship and the World Economy and 2nd year students of the Faculty of Economics ("World Economy") took part in the conference "Creating High-Performance Jobs - Growth Strategy for Russia".
The conference was held on the initiative of the regional department of the Representative under the President of the Russian Federation for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs and the regional branch of the All-Russian People's Front on November 1 in the Government House of the Stavropol Territory.
The priorities for social and economic development of the region and the prospects for creating high-performance jobs were reported by the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Stavropol Territory, Kirill Alexandrovich Kuzmin, the Minister of Economic Development of the Stavropol Territory Valery Sizov, the Minister of Energy, Industry and Communication of the Stavropol Territory Vitaly Pavlovich Khotsenko, economy of the Stavropol Territory Alexander Nikolaevich Zolotorev, deputy chairman of the Stavropol Committee of food processing industry, trade and licensing Oleg Ivanovich Proskurin.
Representatives of the business community of the region spoke about successes and problems in the field of increasing labor productivity, providing qualified personnel. Natalia Vladimirovna Bannikova, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and World Economy of the Agrarian University, delivered a report on "Improving the state of the rural labor sphere as a reserve for the modernization of the agro-food complex".
The issues discussed at the conference, in particular, support for stability in the labor market, methods for stimulating the creation of high-performance jobs and criteria for their evaluation, aroused keen interest among 2nd-year students of the Faculty of Economics (World Economy) who attended the conference together with the professor of the Department of Entrepreneurship and World Economy Tatyana Nikolaevna Kostyuchenko. For future economists, participation in the conference became a real practice-oriented occupation in the discipline "Labor Economics".
