Within the framework of the events dedicated to the Day of the Economist, on November 13, an inter-faculty Olympiad on economic theory for students of the economic and electric power faculties was held.
Employees of the Department of Economic Theory and Economics of the Agroindustrial Complex Gruzkov I.V., Ryazantsev I.I., Ponomarenko M.V. organized and conducted the Olympiad in Economic Theory, in which the first-year students of the Faculty of Economics (directions "State and Municipal Administration", "Regional Management" and "Municipal Management") and students of the 2nd course of the Electric Power Department (directions "Electric Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering", "Electricity Supply" profile).
The Olympiad was held in three stages. During the first stage - theoretical - the students prepared written answers to current economic questions and substantiated their conclusions and proposals. The second stage was held in an interactive form - a brain-ring. The third was a team work of students on test tasks.
During the Olympiad the students showed high theoretical training, showed creative abilities, and skills of teamwork. But the main thing is that they realized that the professional culture of modern qualified personnel and the success of their future career largely depends on the luggage of deep theoretical knowledge in the field of economics.
