At the competitions in Karachaevo-Cherkessia, the second-year student of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of Stavropol State Agrarian University Magomed Bagavdinov successfully performed.
On November 9, the All-Russian master's tournament on freestyle wrestling "Memorial of defenders of the passes of the Caucasus" was completed, on which Magomed Bagavdinov won bronze in the weight category of 86 kg. Thus, the student of SSAU once again confirmed the title of master of sports in freestyle wrestling.
Note that this tournament is held annually since 1977. In 2017, the competitions were timed to the Day of National Unity. About 250 sportsmen from 13 subjects of the Russian Federation took part in them, including Moscow, Krasnoyarsk, Crimea, Stavropol, Karachaevo-Cherkessia and other subjects of the North Caucasus Federal District.
