Master of Sports of Russia, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture of Stavropol State Agrarian University Yulia Kolesnichenko won the victory in Tula.
From 1 to 5 November, the Russian Championship in hand-to-hand fighting took place among juniors. The competition, timed to the 76th anniversary of the defense of the city of Tula in the Great Patriotic War, was attended by more than 500 athletes aged 18-20 years.
As a result of the championship of Russia, Stavropol participants took three medals. Julia Kolesnichenko, a student at Stavropol State Agrarian University, took the gold of the tournament. Now the athlete will have intensive preparation for the Russian hand-to-hand fighting championship, which will be held on December 6-11 in Kaliningrad.
