Student of the Stavropol State Agrarian University - laureate of the Russian National Prize "Student of the Year - 2017"

Maxim Anuprienko, the student dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization of Stavropol State Agrarian University, became the winner of the nomination "Student Leader of the Year" of educational organizations of higher education of the country.

On November 15-17, in Simferopol, the Republic of Crimea, the finals of the Russian National Prize "Student of the Year - 2017" were held, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the All-Russian Public Organization "The Russian Union of Youth".

It was not easy to demonstrate their talents and abilities, to make it bright and unforgettable before a competent jury. The best activists of Russian colleges and universities competed in 13 nominations: Journalist of the Year, Young Scientist of the Year, Foreign Student of the Year, Creative Personality of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Public of the Year, Student Leader of the Year, "Athlete of the Year."

According to experts, this year's award was the most massive and interesting. About 5 thousand Russian students participated in the qualifying stages of the competition for the National Prize "Student of the Year"! In the sunny Crimea, at the final stage, more than 200 of the best representatives of student youth from 62 subjects of the Russian Federation arrived.

- "Student of the Year" is a large-scale event. This award is the pride of the Russian Union of Youth and Honor for the region that accepts it. We will be able to demonstrate to the best students of the whole country our culture and the beauty of our peninsula, "Maxim Sheremetev, head of the Crimean branch of the Association of Students and Students' Associations of Russia, assured everyone at the start of the significant event.

Three days of difficult competitive tests for the title of the country's best students on the basis of the Crimean Federal University named after V. I. Vernadsky were crowned with a solemn ceremony of awarding. It was held on November 17 on the stage of the Crimean Republican Palace of Trade Unions.

Chairman of the Russian Union of Youth Pavel Krasnorutsky stressed: "It is not by chance that this is the day we traditionally, for the fourth consecutive year, sum up the results of the competition, because today the International Students Day is celebrated all over the world."

- Crimea and Simferopol become the center of all-Russian events. Active young people gathered here, who were not afraid to take part in this competition, - the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov said with satisfaction. - We understand that without you there will not be a successful development of our country. The successful development of our Russia depends on how much you are ready to defend the interests of the country and society.

It is gratifying to announce that Maxim Onuprienko, the representative of one of the best Russian universities, the Stavropol State Agrarian University, became the finalist-laureate of the nomination "Student Leader". It should be recalled that before declaring themselves at the country level, the 4th year student of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization, who heads the Council of Students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, needed to enter the leaders of the regional stage of the contest. As a prize-winner of the all-Russian significance, Maxim received a diploma, presents with the symbols of the Russian National Prize "Student of the Year" and a cash incentive of 20 thousand rubles.
