Within the framework of support and promotion of the international project "World Entrepreneurship Week", a practical-oriented lesson "Start Your Business" with students of the Business Support Foundation in the Stavropol Territory took place on November 16 for students of the Faculty of Economics of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
The World Entrepreneurship Week is an annual international project to support and promote entrepreneurship, which covers 160 countries. One of its main goals is the development of youth entrepreneurship, which corresponds to the Strategy for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship in the Russian Federation, adopted just over a year ago, until 2030.
Practical-oriented classes for students of graduate courses of the Economics Faculty of the fields of preparation "Economics" (Profiles "Economics of Enterprises and Organizations", "World Economy") and "Business Informatics" were conducted at the Department of Entrepreneurship and World Economy.
The assistant to the head of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund in the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Alexandrovich Mikhailenko and senior expert Olga Dmitrievna Litvinova told students about the work of the newly organized Youth Consulting Business Center, the program "You are an entrepreneur", which allows you to get better acquainted with the practical aspects of doing business on the opportunities for young entrepreneurs in the Stavropol Territory and the existing measures of state support. Students took an active part in the discussion, during which answers were given to all the questions they were interested in, and also received methodological recommendations "Opportunities for the development of your business."
Carrying out such practical-oriented classes, popularizing youth entrepreneurship, increases students' interest in organizing their own business, develops their abilities and the level of professional competencies.
