Graduates of the faculties of agrobiology and land resources and ecology and landscape architecture met with the first-year students of the Agrarian University.

Within the framework of the discipline "Introduction to the specialty" on November 15, freshmen of the faculties of agrobiology and land resources, ecology and landscape architecture talked to the graduates of the faculties – young specialists in the fields of agronomy, plant protection, land management and cadastre, fermentation and winemaking, ecology and nature management, landscape architecture .

The lecturer was opened by the dean of the faculties, Professor Alexander N. Esaulko, who introduced the graduates and began a conversation about the needs of the agricultural sector in qualified specialists. The chief technologist of the private brewery "Petrovich" Vladimir Gavrilyuk, a graduate of the Agronomic Faculty of 2008, told the first-year students about the profession of a technologist, the state of the industry in the Stavropol Territory, the opportunities for practical training and placement of students in the direction "Food from vegetable raw materials." Maria Tskhovrebova, a graduate of the Agronomical Faculty of 2007, reported on employment opportunities and features of the cadastral engineer's profession. Landscaping designer of the landscape office "Golden Crown" Vladislav Zakharova, a graduate of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture of 2015, shared information about the directions of work of landscape designers, requirements presented by the employer to specialists of this profile. On the prospects of work at the enterprises of the agro-industrial complex, in the organizations for the sale of fertilizers and plant protection products, the graduate of the agronomical faculty of 2008 Anatoly Kazmin, now the sales manager of LLC Agroaliance, spoke with students. The graduate of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture in 2016, the leading engineer of the branch of the Federal State Budget Institution "Center for Laboratory Analysis and Technical Measurements in the Southern Federal District" – the Center for Laboratory Analysis and Technical Measurements for the Stavropol Territory Maxim Zhebrikov spoke about the functional duties of a specialist in the field of ecology and monitoring environment and the opportunities for employment in this area.

Freshmen in turn asked questions about the specifics of professions and wages, asked senior comrades how they had been and how they remembered their student years, what social life they were engaged in during their studies at the Agricultural University.
