Starts a new scholarship program "Students of Syngenta"

At the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of the Stavropol State University held a meeting with the business development manager of LLC "Syngenta" S.B. Aristov.

The meeting was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, A. N. Esaulko; Head of the Department of Chemistry and Plant Protection, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences A.P. Shutko; associate professors V.A. Stukalo, L. V. Tuturgans and students of the faculty, studying in the profile of "Agronomy".

During the heuristic conversation, the future agrarians got acquainted with the history of the company, produced her plant protection products, learned about the scholarship program for students of agricultural universities.

The company LLC "Syngenta" is one of the leading on the market of chemical plant protection products. Nowadays, Syngenta offers not only a wide range of seeds of main field crops of the Russian region - sunflower, corn, sugar beet, rapeseed, but also a rich assortment of plant protection products, and provides comprehensive professional protection programs for agricultural producers.

Scholarship program of students of the company "Syngenta" exists since 2007. For 10 years, its participants were more than 40 students of agrarian universities of the country, including the Stavropol State Agrarian University. In 2017 students of Luchko Anastasia, Grigorenko Viktoria, Sokolova Tatyana and Tetenishchev Alexander were students at the "Syngenta" firm.

Since 2018, a new expanded program will start, which includes three stages. The first is the preparation of competitive scientific work and the passage of technological practice, the second - is aimed at training future specialists for work in agricultural holdings and agricultural enterprises, the third - includes work in farms as agronomists in the direction of the company "Syngenta".

The company needs young, energetic people, so Sergey Aristov wished the students to expand their knowledge, study foreign languages and certainly engage in self-education. At the end of the meeting, the business development manager of LLC "Syngenta" responded to numerous questions from the interested student audience.
