Teachers and students of the Department of production and processing of food products from vegetable raw materials took part in the First southern forum for professional winemaking "Best brands of Russia", organized by NP "South Guild of bakers, confectioners, hospitality industry".
The forum brought together Russian industry experts, producers of wine and related products, representatives of the business community, science, media, executive and legislative authorities of the Russian Federation.
Experts discussed key issues related to the development of the wine industry of the South of Russia, exchange of experience, establish new business contacts, search for dealers and distributors of wine products; to promote wines and beverages from local producers there were presentations and tastings, was signed the cooperation agreement.
In the framework of the round table "The story of a successful business: wine business" head of the Department of production and processing of food products from vegetable raw materials associate professor Elena Semenovna Romanenko told the audience about the history of the department, its scientific directions and development of its staff, citing examples of successful employment of graduates in this area. For all guests and participants of the forum by the teachers of the University was held a master class "Wine etiquette: theory and practice".
The forum concluded with a wine reception in the art gallery "Parshin" that hosted a unique tasting of the best wine producers in Stavropol region and presentations menu gastronomic partners from "Bread and wine", "Fish and wine", "Desserts and wine", "Cheese and wine".
