According to the National rating of universities of the Russian Federation in 2017, presented on December 12 by the project "Social Navigator" of MIA "Russia Today", the leader of the nomination "Agricultural Higher Educational Institutions" was Stavropol State Agrarian University.
In 2017, the study included 448 universities from 81 subjects of the Russian Federation. The evaluation of universities was conducted according to such criteria as the demand for prepared specialists by employers, the commercialization of the intellectual product produced by the university, and the relevance of the research product (methodology).
State, departmental, municipal and private higher education institutions, which trained personnel in basic and additional programs of higher education, entered the university's demand for higher education. Among them there are 127 engineering universities, 89 classical universities, 54 agricultural universities, 61 universities from the sphere of administration, 69 liberal arts colleges and 48 medical universities. The study did not include branches, higher spiritual educational institutions, universities of culture and military profile.
In the category "Agricultural Higher Educational Institutions", as in the previous year, Stavropol State Agrarian University is leading, 91.5% of graduates of which are employed.
Thus, according to the version of one of the largest international news agencies "Russia Today" (the project "Social Navigator" with the participation of the Labor Market Research Centre), graduates of Stavropol State Agrarian University cannot be afraid that they will not find work in the region. Since this rating assesses the demand for graduates from the labor market side, it is in demand in the real Russian economy.
