Young people go to business

The results of the implementation in the province of the federal program "You are an Entrepreneur" for 2016-2017 were summed up at the congress held on December 12 at Stavropol State Agrarian University.

More than 200 people gathered in the walls of the best agricultural university in Russia. Participants of the congress were students of secondary professional and higher educational institutions of the region, teachers of economic disciplines, business trainers and consultants, representatives of state and public organizations supporting entrepreneurship, experienced and beginning businessmen.

The participants exchanged the accumulated experience in the implementation of the federal program "You are an entrepreneur" in the region.

Director of the Institute of Further Professional Education of Stavropol State Agrarian University Olga Lisova told that the university's teachers developed two interesting additional educational programs "Business Start" and "Business Pros". In the autumn of 2017, 1650 students of 25 secondary professional and higher educational institutions of the province were trained in 15 cities and districts of Stavropol, as well as 59 young people who recently opened their own businesses. More than 300 people became participants of the Week of the Young Entrepreneur.

The chairman of the Council of the Stavropol Regional Public Children's Organization "Union of Children of Stavropol" Margarita Nedosekova explained how work was carried out to attract the attention of high school students to the subtleties of entrepreneurial activity. Director of LLC "Stavservis" Andrei Redkin spoke about the organization of monitoring the effectiveness of activities to involve youth in entrepreneurial activities. The speech of Svetlana Volkova, an employee of the Stavropol Territory Foundation for Support of Entrepreneurship, was devoted to the work on the implementation of the federal program "You are an Entrepreneur" in 2016.

Participants of the congress had the opportunity to attend master classes, which were conducted by representatives of the business community invited from Moscow. Thus, the general director of the Agency for Economic Development and Entrepreneurship, Alexander Elagin, shared his experience in the effective implementation of the program for involving young people in entrepreneurial activities in the region. Another metropolitan guest - the founder and owner of the construction company "Repairology", the consulting company "Karaulov Marketing" Alexey Karaulov highlighted the topic of modern trends in business.

Stavropol business trainers - Igor Cherevko and Igor Devedorkin conducted master classes on investor relations for start-up entrepreneurs and application of information technologies in small and medium-sized businesses in rural areas of Stavropol Territory.

Experienced Stavropol businessmen willingly shared recipes for successful activities. Their main conclusion: success in business begins with a dream, it is important to know well the area of activity that is interesting, and to assemble a team of like-minded people. At the end of the panel discussion, business representatives agreed to meet more than once with young people to help beginners in the implementation of their dreams.

The Congress was crowned with the awarding of the winners of the competition of business projects. It was held in two stages. On correspondence - 200 students of secondary professional and higher educational institutions of the region presented their developments. Of these, the jury selected 60, their authors and was invited to full-time protection in Stavropol State Agrarian University. For four days the teachers of the university helped the guys to finalize the prepared business projects, and then evaluated what they had done on public protection.

Fifteen works of the jury under the guidance of the associate professor of the Department of World Economy and Entrepreneurship of SSAU Alexander Tenishchev were recognized as the best, and five - the most promising. According to the members of the jury, their authors already now could start their own business. At the congress these guys were encouraged by diplomas and valuable gifts.

The winners were the students of the North Caucasus Federal University, Kristina Perkun, who came up with the idea of creating a flower shop "Don Peony", and Valery Toropilin, who planned the creation of the organization "Social Friend".

Two winners Alina Korolevskaya, who plans to open a fast food kiosk "Kono pizza", and Kristina Rezenkova, who prepared a business project for the creation of a rabbit breeding farm, represented Stavropol State Agrarian University.

Alexander Skryagin studies in the Pyatigorsk technical school of commerce, technology and service. He is ready in the future to offer Stavropol customers "People's Strawberries."

Among the winners of the contest of business projects are Patimat Amirova and Andrey Dolgushin, students of Stavropol cooperative and Novotroitsky agricultural technical schools, Natalia Magomedova from Nevinnomyssk State Humanitarian Technical Institute.

The ceremony was attended by President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Stavropol Territory Boris Obolenets, Deputy Minister of Education and Youth Policy of SK Denis Zhirnov, Head of the Administration of Petrovsky Municipal District Alexander Zakharchenko. The Congress decorated the vocal performances of creative student groups of Agrarian University.
