Best in hand-to-hand fighting

The gold of Russia and the absolute victory was won in Kaliningrad by the 4th year student of the faculty of ecology and landscape architecture of Stavropol State Agrarian University Yulia Kolesnichenko.

Our hand-to-hand fighter, master of sports of Russia Yulia Kolesnichenko became the champion of the country at the competitions that took place in Kaliningrad. Over 480 athletes from 49 subjects of the Russian Federation fought for victory here.

As a result, Yulia performed at a high level and took 1st place in the absolute weight category. By the way, in the final battle the student of SSAU opposed the sportswoman from Irkutsk.

"It was not an easy victory," says Yulia. - In a hard struggle with an equal score, I managed to win on the first technical action.

Now the student of SSAU will defend the honor of the country in the national team of the Russian Federation at the European Championships. It will be held in May 2018 in the capital of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk.

The native high school congratulates Yulia and wishes her to be prepared so that, being a part of the national squad, it will successfully perform at the upcoming European Championship!
