3rd year students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of the direction of training "Agronomics" of Stavropol State Agrarian University have completed training on the program of additional professional education.
From November 29 to December 6, students attended the program "Application of intensive technologies for fertilizer application in the system of accurate and traditional farming in the field of agronomy, plant protection and fruit and vegetable growing". This program was prepared by the staff of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology - Professor A. Esaulko, Associate Professors M. S. Sigida, E. V. Golosnoy, S. A. Korostylev, E. A. Salenko and Assistant Ozheredova A. Yu.
During the course, open lectures were given by Stavropol agricultural practitioners. Among them there was the head of the agricultural department of Stavropol AgroSoyuz LLC, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences V. Radchenko, who covered the practical application of intensive technologies in the application of fertilizers in the system of precise and traditional farming, as exemplified by the Kolos CJSC, Kochubeevsky District, Stavropol Territory. Head of the Department of Melioration and Vegetable Growing of the Ministry of Agriculture of Stavropol Territory A. Yu. Oleinikov delivered a lecture "The role of the Federal State Agrochemical Service in the implementation of state monitoring of agricultural land in Stavropol Territory." On the use of space survey data for the needs of agricultural production, the conversation with the agrarian youth was led by S. A. Antonov, head of the GIS-technology laboratory of the FGBU of the Stavropolsky SCAS. The application of innovative technologies in the system of accurate farming was described by the specialist in GIS-technologies P.A. Burmistrov.
Upon completion of the training, the students received certificates.
