Stavropol State Agrarian University has taken a course - on renewal and development in unity with the region!

On December 22, the Academic Council of the Stavropol State Agrarian University discussed the results of the participation of the Stavropol State Agrarian University in the contest "Universities as Centers of Innovation Creation Space" and tasks to implement the declared road map for 2017-2019.

On the main issue, the report was made by the pro-rector for scientific and innovative work of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor V.Yu. Morozov. Vitaly Yurievich reported that on December 14 at the inter-university forum "Supporting Universities - Drivers of Regional Development", held at the Belgorod State Technical University named after V.G. Shukhov, the results of the competitive selection of university centers for innovation, technological and social development of the regions were announced within the framework of the priority project "Universities as centers of innovation creation space".

Applications for participation in the contest came from 121 universities from 63 subjects of the Russian Federation. By results of selection 51 high schools has received the status "University center of innovative, technological and social development of regions". Among them there are 10 federal universities, 10 universities of the 5-100 project, 6 national research universities, 20 supporting universities, 2 higher education institutions of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, 13 universities of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Stavropol State Agrarian University - the only institution of higher education The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, which won the competition in an incredible competition.

Professor V.Yu. Morozov shared his vision of what key effects for the Stavropol Territory should be made by the implementation of all the tasks ahead of the agrarian higher educational institution:

- First of all, they concern the reduction of the outflow of talented young people from the region, where the employment of university graduates by 2019 will be more than 75%. The share of educational programs, including modules on technological entrepreneurship, will amount to more than 35% by 2019, which will undoubtedly affect the training of qualified personnel in demand on the regional labor market. More than 1500 people a year will make up the number of students under the programs of additional professional education.

Inclusion of the Stavropol State Agrarian University in solving the problems of sustainable social and economic development of the Stavropol Territory will lead to the creation of new jobs with high added value. The launch and operation of the Engineering Center for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Stavropol Territory will ensure the advancement of joint innovative scientific developments with companies, as well as systematic interaction with scientific organizations. At least 15 technological projects a year can be realized by the Agrarian University at the expense of enterprises and organizations of the regional economy. The University will contribute to the construction and development of the regional model of the promising market "FoodNet" of the Stavropol Territory within the framework of the National Technological Initiative.

Further on the main stages of the transformation of the Stavropol State Agrarian University into the University Center for Innovative and Technological Development of the Stavropol Territory was announced by the head of the Center for Quality Management of Education, E.V. Khokhlova. This activity involves the creation of a Coordination Council and a single coordinating center for the implementation of the Transformation Program, as well as special information resources-an information database, an information portal, newsletters, a catalog of technological and innovative developments that will become part of the image component of an agrarian institution in a new capacity.

Specific proposals on the main issue of the meeting of the Academic Council were stated by the dean of the Electric Power Department, Candidate of Technical Sciences M.A. Mastepanenko. Maxim Alekseevich considers it expedient to create a training and research ground for conducting electrical work and an automated dispatch center for heat consumption systems. On the basis of the laboratory "Electricity" it is planned to open a training ground "Automated control systems for the electric grid enterprise". The innovation and technology center "Repair and maintenance of automatic fire alarm systems" will operate.

The opportunities for the development of youth entrepreneurship in a branch university were told by the head of the department of scientific research work of students and scientific and technical creativity of youth, the candidate of veterinary sciences S.P. Sklyarov. At the same time, Sergei Pavlovich stressed the need to keep young scientists of the Stavropol State Agrarian University informed about grant programs on the university's website, the implementation of accelerated university programs and the program of training technology entrepreneurship.

The position on the main issue was also stated by the vice-rector for educational and educational work of the Stavropol State Agrarian University IV Atanov: "Having passed the most important stage of the transformation, our university from this project will only benefit. There are areas for improvement, there are also reserves for implementing new approaches in university-wide activity. "

The result of the meeting of the Academic Council was summed up by the rector of the Agrarian University V.I. Truhachev. Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev expressed his confidence that new ambitious goals on transformation of Stavropol State Agrarian University structural subdivisions and their activities are achievable with the maximum contribution of each teacher and employee in his closing speech on optimizing the activity of the university in the coming year.

At the end of the meeting, the university's management and members of the Academic Council of the Stavropol State Agrarian University confirmed the readiness of the staff to upgrade the university in key areas of activity related to the development of the region. This vector, as well as the subsequent deep reset of the agrarian university, will become decisive for the next 2018.
